How long does it take?

Custom saunas depend on the scope. We’ll lock in a timeline during your consult. European saunas (Lume & Koda) have a 14 to 16 week lead time from order. Sooner if we have stock available.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yeah, we offer Afterpay and Zip, plus custom payment plans for bigger builds. Just ask and we’ll sort something out.

Is installation included?

For our first 20 orders, installation is free within 50km of Sydney. Outside that radius, we’ll quote delivery and install costs upfront. No surprises.

What materials do you use?

Custom saunas are built from Western red cedar. European saunas use 40mm thermo-treated pine wood, FSC-certified. All our saunas run SAWO heaters from Finland with peridotite stones.

Can you build to fit my specific space?

That's literally what we do. Odd-shaped rooms, rooftop terraces, tight backyards. We measure up and build to your exact dimensions.

What warranty do you offer?

Structure and workmanship carry a 2-year residential warranty. Heaters and electrical components carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty. We stand behind everything we sell.

Do I need council approval to install a sauna in NSW?

Accepted Answer

Most residential outdoor saunas under 10sqm and 3m high count as an Exempt Development in NSW (no DA needed). Bigger custom builds, anything attached to the house, or strata properties may need approval. We’ll flag it during the consult and tell you exactly what your council wants.

What electrical do I need?

Our 8kW SAWO heaters run on single-phase 240V, hardwired on a dedicated 32A circuit. You’ll need a licensed sparkie to run the cable and a residual current device. We coordinate timing with your electrician at install. Expect $400 to $1,200 depending on cable run.

Will the cedar handle Australian summers?

Western red cedar is naturally rot- and insect-resistant and handles heat and humidity well. The thing to plan for is UV fade over years in direct Sydney sun. We recommend an annual oil to keep the colour. The structural integrity stays the same regardless.

Can you pair the sauna with a cold plunge?

Yeah, the Zerenity Plunge is designed for this. Sauna 15 minutes, plunge 2 to 3 minutes, repeat 3 to 4 rounds. We can do them side-by-side under a single roof or separate. The plunge is a plug-and-play 10A outlet so install is simple.

How often does it need maintenance?

Wipe benches down after each session. Annual cedar oil treatment outdoors. Heater inspection at 6 months, peridotite stones rotate or replace every 5 years. We send reminders and can do a service visit for Sydney clients.

Does a sauna add to my house value?

Accepted Answer

In premium Sydney suburbs, a quality permanent sauna typically returns 80 to 120 percent of cost in resale. Real estate agents in the Eastern Suburbs and North Shore call it out as a feature. The custom builds add more value than barrels because they’re part of the architecture.
